Even though he requested that Frost be able to break the rules in their match, Vegeta determined that his pride as a martial artist was more important than killing someone he hates. The same Vegeta who had no problem killing people not even an arc ago, though, in reality, he only spared him because he felt honor bound to do so as the original tournament rules forbade killing. Despite having the opportunity to do it since the rules were changed, Vegeta doesn't kill Frost, saying that he didn't want to stoop to his level.When he kills Captain Ginyu in Super, instead of having his usual glee when he murders someone, he seemed more angry and disgusted.Only those who are the strongest and most honorable fighters (that aren't Kakarot) have ever gained this privilege. In general amount of times Vegeta is completely polite and respectful to anyone in the entire series can be counted on two hands and most of those moments are in Super after his character development from Z. He even lowers his head and begs Whis to train him when he learns that he's Beerus' mentor. He's noticeably respectful towards Whis, greeting and bowing when he returns home.
